This inn is one of those gems that you find unexpectedly. Sam and his family are dedicated to making your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. With clean modern rooms and a restaurant across the street, this inn is definitely the perfect place when visiting the Sullivan, Findlay, and Lake Shelbyville area!

I came here to fish Crappies with my neighbor. The amenities were amazing. Full size fridge. Clean Rooms. Sam Patel is always courteous and kind. I have stayed here 3 times and never disappointed. Jim L.

I been going here from last 20 years for hunting on lake. The rooms are always very clean and up to date. The manager is super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to everyone that is looking for a place to stay while visiting lake here in the town.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Gateway Inn in Sullivan for nearly a month, and we were thoroughly impressed. The hospitality extended by the owner, Sam, and his family was truly exceptional — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
The room was fantastic: clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall customer service was outstanding, marked by warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care.

The room and the services here are wonderful. My room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great—just a short walk to a family restaurant with delicious food, as well as other nearby stores. If you enjoy walking, it’s a convenient and pleasant area to explore.
What I appreciated most, though, was the peaceful atmosphere of the place. I stayed here for almost a month, and during that time, what truly made the experience special was the owner and his family. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and their warmth left a lasting impression on me.

I have stayed here over the last several years. The owners have been so kind! They answer all my questions and are very efficient. The rooms are quiet and very clean. I even brought a family member who got their own room and they were highly satisfied! I will certainly continue to stay here when I come to town.
